Oh man! Yesterday was busy! It was one thing after another. I need. I want. I only have two hands people. Of course it didn't help that I was only going to be in the office for one day this week :-)
Oh and we finally got some rain here. Thank the heavens!!!
Before the work day was over, I got a phone call from smoness asking if I wanted to hang out for the evening. I didn't have anything planned, so said what the hell. Little did I know what I was getting myself into :-) We decided to go take pictures near downtown in Eleanore Tinsley Park. I honestly don't think I've laughed that hard in such a long time. I honestly haven't had time to go through any of the pictures yet, but I'm sure there will be a picture post soon. We had dinner at Barnaby's, and then it was home to pack for my three-day trip to Birmingham. I'll be stuck in meetings for the next few days, so please feel free to help keep me entertained!!

I could get used to having days off like this :-)
I did get some laundry done and a few other things around the house yesterday morning. I had lunch with my NSLP goofycubb at Hungry's in the Village.
I ran a few more errands, and then met up with Anna and Tammie to walk around Memorial Park.
That was really about it for the rest of the day. I can't complain.
Today will probably be a little busier! LOL!

Nothing really all that exciting happened yesterday. I was busy enough at work, but not completely overloaded, that the day went by pretty quickly.
After work, I ran a few errands, and that was about it.
It has gotten nice and chilly here overnight. Yeah I know it's not as cold as up north, but I'm sure the fur coats will be seen around Houston today! LOL!

I was happy for an easy day at the office yesterday. Nothing all that exciting, but enough work to keep me busy until 4. Then I was out the door and on the road.
Thank goodness for cell phones where I could call and text people to help keep me entertained! LOL
I made it home and got caught up with Mom and Dad while I watched Biggest Loser and they watched Dancing with the Stars. That was about it for me.
Today I'm off to New Iberia to see some agents that we work with and then going to meet one of my fraternity little brothers for lunch, who I haven't seen in about 2 years.

I have to say that I was very surprised that yesterday flew by. I wasn't crazy busy, but I was constantly doing something productive.
After work I met up with my friend Stephen for dinner at Biba's. The food and company were both good. Once I got home, I packed for my short trip home for Thanksgiving with the family. I'll be heading out this afternoon right after work. I hope everybody has a great and safe Thanksgiving no matter what you do!

Well yesterday wasn't that bad of a Monday. That's a good thing. We got lots of rain, which we needed, but that was really about it.
Driving home from work took me about an hour. It's just rain people.
I got a few things done around the house last night, but that was about it. Nothing all that exciting.
I got to sleep in an extra hour this morning because I am giving a training this morning for one of our agent's, and their office is closer to my house than to the office.

With Hurricane Ike's visit being over a month ago, oddly enough it had only rained once since then. Well that has now changed. Houston has now had pretty constant rain here over the past 48 hours. Since it was raining on the drive home, I decided to pass on going to walk in the park and headed home. I was completely exhausted but did get a few things done around the house.
I fixed dinner and then hunkered down on my couch to watch Project Runway. I am sure just as I type this in that there will be spoilers in the comments section. You have been warned.

Oh my gosh. I thought this day would never get here, but we made it.
It's Friday, and I'm ready for 3 PM to get here.

Yesterday? What is there to say other than I didn't stop all day. Most of the schools in Houston still weren't opened yesterday, but that doesn't mean that the traffic wasn't crazy. Oh my gosh where are all these people coming from and driving to? Hopefully today will be better, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. School is back in session for a large part of the greater Houston area today.
After work, I rushed home to get dinner started. Since I still have friends without power, and "Heroes" season premiere was on tonight, I figured I'd made dinner. I whipped up my chicken and sausage jambalaya along with some corn and bread. goofycubb, tallted, cubbeartx and Jay were all in attendance. We all had a busy day, and it was good to just sit back, enjoy some good food and watch some good TV. I do have to say there are so many story lines going on out there. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season folds out.
