October Photo Challenge - Clouds





I took this today while walking around the Las Vegas Strip. This is the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel.

Not much to say here. We had lots of rain here yesterday. It made for a very long and dreary day.
Last night I watched TV and started working on a photo project for one of my co-worker's grandchildren. That's about it here.

September Photo Challenge - ANGRY EXPRESSION



Something you see in Houston all too often :-)

Well here we are again during my 6-6:30 computer time before getting ready for another day at the office.
I have nothing exciting to say. Yesterday morning was really slow for me. Thank goodness the afternoon picked up, or I would have been going crazy!
I was talking with Anna on my drive home, and both of us couldn't stop talking about food. I mentioned driving by Chuy's, and she asked if I had dinner plans. I didn't, and she hopped in the car to meet me at Chuy's. I love our impromptu dinners. We had a nice time sitting out on the patio talking and eating (minus the two girls next to us who were smoking cloves cigarettes! Nasty!)
Then I headed home to clean house while watching The Biggest Loser and the season finale of Big Brother. I will just say that I'm happy with who won. I'm sure there might be spoilers in comments. You've been warned :-)

August 09 Photo Challenge - FARMER'S MARKET

Oh man! Yesterday was busy! It was one thing after another. I need. I want. I only have two hands people. Of course it didn't help that I was only going to be in the office for one day this week :-)
Oh and we finally got some rain here. Thank the heavens!!!
Before the work day was over, I got a phone call from smoness asking if I wanted to hang out for the evening. I didn't have anything planned, so said what the hell. Little did I know what I was getting myself into :-) We decided to go take pictures near downtown in Eleanore Tinsley Park. I honestly don't think I've laughed that hard in such a long time. I honestly haven't had time to go through any of the pictures yet, but I'm sure there will be a picture post soon. We had dinner at Barnaby's, and then it was home to pack for my three-day trip to Birmingham. I'll be stuck in meetings for the next few days, so please feel free to help keep me entertained!!

We just weighed in here at work, and I am proud to say I have lost 20 pounds since January. Yah me!!

I could get used to having days off like this :-)
I did get some laundry done and a few other things around the house yesterday morning. I had lunch with my NSLP goofycubb at Hungry's in the Village.
I ran a few more errands, and then met up with Anna and Tammie to walk around Memorial Park.
That was really about it for the rest of the day. I can't complain.
Today will probably be a little busier! LOL!

Nothing really all that exciting happened yesterday. I was busy enough at work, but not completely overloaded, that the day went by pretty quickly.
After work, I ran a few errands, and that was about it.
It has gotten nice and chilly here overnight. Yeah I know it's not as cold as up north, but I'm sure the fur coats will be seen around Houston today! LOL!

I was happy for an easy day at the office yesterday. Nothing all that exciting, but enough work to keep me busy until 4. Then I was out the door and on the road.
Thank goodness for cell phones where I could call and text people to help keep me entertained! LOL
I made it home and got caught up with Mom and Dad while I watched Biggest Loser and they watched Dancing with the Stars. That was about it for me.
Today I'm off to New Iberia to see some agents that we work with and then going to meet one of my fraternity little brothers for lunch, who I haven't seen in about 2 years.
Well I'm off. Have a good and safe holiday out there everybody!!!!

I have to say that I was very surprised that yesterday flew by. I wasn't crazy busy, but I was constantly doing something productive.
After work I met up with my friend Stephen for dinner at Biba's. The food and company were both good. Once I got home, I packed for my short trip home for Thanksgiving with the family. I'll be heading out this afternoon right after work. I hope everybody has a great and safe Thanksgiving no matter what you do!
